What is UMAP?

Updated:

UMAP is one of the dimensionality-reduction methods in the scRNA Embedding Report (after PCA). It projects cells to low-dimensional space for visualization and cluster review, complementing t-SNE; outputs are produced by the Seurat-based module and surfaced as HTML reports. Widely applied in genomics and single-cell analysis, UMAP helps review clusters, neighborhoods, and trajectories after QC, normalization, and PCA.
